PCI USB Card question

Right, my gf has an old compuer with only 2 usb ports on the back of it, and I was thinking about adding a few more, probably 4.

Now, my question is this: is it enough to just buy a 4 port USB PCI card for and stick it in or do I need something else? Since it's an old computer and it will be replaced next year, I was thinking of an cheap(ish) usb pci card with 4 ports. Is that all I need?

Also, how do you install it? Obvioulsy, I know hot to plug it in the pci slot, but are there any settings I need to change in BIOS or extra cables to connect or anything?

Sorry for asking perhaps obvious questions, but I hope you can help me.

Thanks in advance :)

its easy just put the 4 port usb hub in a spare pci slot install the drivers that came with the card and your good to go easy

Thanks mate, already done it ;)

I was pretty sure that was all there was to it, however, being pedantic as I am, I always like to check things before I do them :)
