-I would get a better PSU like an AntecTPII
-Core 2 Duo!! Yay!
-There are better mobos for the price
-Get a SATA Hard Drive
-Memory Looks Good
-Video card is awesome

u could update your memory to the DDR2 800 speed that the mobo supports

also you could wait about a week or so and get the CPU cheaper on Newegg when they get more in stock also dropping teh price

Looks nice, but I would make a few changes.

You can save some cash with this GPU.

I would recommend this mobo:

and SATA hdds are faster than IDE so you would be safe with a SATA.

They are? Since when? Not in actual performance during most read/write operations they aren't. You might see a few points in a benchmark, but you will never see it in real world performance.

The only SATA HDD to get if you are looking for increased performance is the WD Raptor at 10,000 RPM. The 150 GB Raptor is available now.

Show me the times... Show me the scores. It is all in your head.. Virtual performance.

You know why? I'll tell you, just in case. A PATA HDD's controller bandwidth is a theoretical 133MB/s peak. A SATA HDD is 150MB/s peak. Both have the same spindle speed, with the exception of the Raptor. The drive can only lift the data and feed the controller so fast. At a speed of 7200 RPM it can not saturate a 133MB/s bus, never mind 150.

Soooo... A harddrive is almost never actually delivering 133MB/s to the system bus, especially during typical read/write operations. This is why the ATA133 HDDs are such a scam. You do not even notice a difference over ATA100.

The only time you might notice a difference is in benchmarks, but benchmarks mean absolutely nothing unless you need a little bit of phallic compensation.
