I know I've posted about 20 posts on my setup. But if you had $500 and only needed a mobo, processor, ram, hdd, and dvd-rw what would you buy considering you alreay had an Antec 380w, 12a and an AGP slotted 9800 pro? Thanks for the suggestions.

I just had to throw a case together fast recently when the old board gave out. The low costs now seen on Socket 939 boards makes it more affordable to build a new case if you have some hardwares already available. There are some AGP as well as PCI-Express Socket 939 available. Those along with many PCI-E boards use DDR400 PC3200 memory. That saves on memory cost if you have that. $109 buys an AMD64 3500+ 2.ghz cpu. You may want to boost the supply up to the TP II 430w or 480w model with the 24pin(four removable) for the new type boards. Let's do some browsing.
Main board, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131569 runs DDR400 PC3200 dimms. DDR2 memory for other models will raise price. Unfortunately newegg is out of AGP model boards or no longer carrying them.
