That's what I mean! And I don't mean for them to join forces, I just mean for a CPU out there somewhere to be able to have the strengths of Intel and AMD. Without the need for duo, or else the end product of the combination x2 for the duo power.

yes, old systems were like that. AMD started as an Intel clone.

The government would not allow it, it would create a total monopoly on the processor market. They could charge $2000 per chip and we would not have much of any other choice to buy it.

say you are busting your ass competing with apple and you microsoft, apple goes belly up, are you still gonna try as hard, highly doubtfull
