Burning to more than one drive????

I'm tryin to burn to more than mone drive simultaneously and it is taking about 20 minutes to burn to disc in Nero 6. Anyone know of any programs that can handle this task better. And I know its not my system because I have AMD 3800 X2, with 1 GB DDR2 800 and a Sata 3.0 250 GB harddrive so i would think it should be able to handle this simple task pretty easily.
 
You didn't mentio the burners...are they identical? I would assume if you're burning two disks at work, the drives would need to be the same to really utilize anything... Though I'd never personally tried it so I'm not 100% sure how much that truly matters.

How's the computer do with just a single drive?
 
ah, alright, that's what I was thinking, but than I thought, well, that person said they had it, so I thought that there was a SATA 3. lol
 
Recording to two drives should take about the same time as the slowest drive would take on its own (identical drives in your case). Nero should work fine.

Can you tell from the recording log where the 20mins is going? Is the indicated burn speed in the log what you set?

I meant a SATA 3.0Gb/s. But i watched my system during the simultaneous burning and I noticed the reason why i was taking so long isbecause the buffer level on the burners constantly full up and they also alternate the entire time its burning. It's really hard to explain but I wonder if another program can handle this better? And I do a lot of burning which is the reason why I cant sit in front of the burner for 3 minutes everytime. I planned on adding another two burners to my system also so I really would like to figure out how to get this done most efficiently
 
For review of what Nero can do see this article.

Re buffers full, they are full on my drives when I burn a single disk. Whatever it is, the buffers should be about the same content for the two drives.

Are you sure both your drives are really equal? That 3 mins you quote, have you actually burned on both drives in that time (not just one and assumed the other is the same)?

BTW I believe for more than two burners you need a plugin for Nero.
