Hello all, this is my first post. I have a asus p5gpl-x se motherboard and it only has 3 sockets on the onbaord sound one ofr speakers one for mic and another which the manual says you can plug in another device. i wanted to have my headphones as well as my speakers plugged in. Can anyone tell me the best way around this.

Well, you can get a simple y adapter to connect both. But that would mean that the sound would be coming from your headphones and your speakers.

If your headphones don't have a volume on it, make sure you lower the volume from the sound settings before you play a sound (unless you like full blast sound ;)).

By the way, you should of started this thread in the "Sound Cards and Speakers" section.

Have a good day :D
