hi, i have an old computer which is 466Mhz celery, and when I try and boot it up it goes to the bios, checks everything seems to be okay then it goes blank and repeats this cycle.
I cannot get into bios setup it says press delete and i cant either the keyboards broken or the motherboards broken or both.
I open the comp and took out the network card, graphics card (and connected to onboard graphics) and took out the cd drive. It still doesn't work. So I pull out the cable to the hard drive. There is nothing in my pc except keyboard, mouse, mobo, ram, psu, and the bios loop keeps repeating in a loop.
I am wondereing if there is anything I have missed - i cant try another keyboard since its the only one i have, and i was thinking of taking out the ram, otherwise does this prove that the motherboard is broken???
thanks in advance for any advice.
[btw the computer used to work before, but since i have been away I have not turned it on for about 6-12 months now.]
