using tv as monitor??

hey guys...i just built my own computer...but i'm lacking a monitor so i've decided to use my tv as my monitor...however...i have an old school tv...not one of those lcd or hdtv ones...so wat cables do i need exactly...?

Its going to look like crap. Its going to be all blurry. Your video card will come with a cable that plugs into your video card and into a s-video cable.
 
yea...i got one of those cables that plugs into my video card...so if i get this s-video cable...do i have to switch that cable with my TV cable everytime i want to watch tv?

Its not a coaxile cable. Your tv should have auxilary s-video ports. Its like hooking up a DVD player. So the answer is no.
