what are the specs you are looking for? Please try to state all the things you hope to have in the computer and tell us what you need the laptop for.

This is a pretty good laptop for around that price range, The T60.

With 1400, I think anything that cost that much, you can consider "best." Just be a little bit more specific as what you may be using it for. Games? School? Apps such as Photoshop, Music development, etc..

Graphics no metters. Just needed fast applications work and as many as posible interfaces.
