Raptor Drive 74GB

Anyone have any experience with the 74GB model? I recently bought one off eBay and all the reviews look very promising (yes I will take advantage of the high Cache and read speed).

Any comments / quirks I should know about this drive bar the cooling it requires?

Maybe by about 3 seconds... your not going to see much improovement with a raptor in loading times and such.

It's a pretty high spec system, M2N32-SLi, X2 4600, 2GB OCZ 800MHz etc etc.

yea install all your progs on it and such... and windows and everything that you've already got cds for. then put all your videos and music and such on a larger storage drive. thats what i plan on doing with my 160gb raid 0 drive when i get them... larger storage space and cheaper than raptors
my friends getting two 150gb raptors... ridiculous amount of space for the amount of money it costs. i'd rather just get a 320gb and two 74gb raptors that way the files are more secure and you spend less money, not to mention you can reformat whenever you like and you have more storage space.

2 x 150!? I would of got one but couldn't afford with my other components ;P That'll be one smooth, big system!
