7600 GS Svideo Not working

I have a MSI 7600GS...and i have a Olevia Flat panel tv...i hooked up a s-video cable from teh comp to the tv and went into properties on the desktop then settings ...but cudnt get the s-video to get working...maybe i didnt go to the right options or watever..can anyone tell me how to get s-video to work? what do u have to do in the properties and stuff...btw its not a faulty s-video...i tried two seperate ones....

Its different with ATi and nVidia but i have also had problems with this. Theres somewhere uner Desktop>>Properties>>settings>>Advanced where you have to force a detection. I wish i could give you better instructions, but i have a ATI card and am not familiar with Nvidia.

yeah i did that...force detect displays....still when i press video 1 or video 2 nothing comes up...maybe ill mess round a lil more...ne more advice wud be appreciated

What cable do you have for your card? is it a vivo cable?

I have problems with my card also, but this is because I have HD output only.

Did you enable dual display, or extend my desktop onto the 2nd display or set this as my default display?

yea maybe thats the problem...does the 7600gs have only hd output? because my flatpanel is not hd

No, I dont even think they have HD output for video cards.

so can ne one help me out? anyone have a 7600gs...or nvidia card so they can walk me through?
