Duo core, whats your oppion

yeah im AMD fan my self considering most my computers i buy are equipped with amd, but im just getting into learning about CPUS right now so i dont know much about actually benchmarking and stability and all that stuff

can you say "fanboy"... personally, i don't think the company sucks at all... they designed the best processor on the market in pretty much all benchmarks... its the best architecture there is currently.

id like to know your reasoning behind the whole "intel sucks" thing though lol... seems kind of like the dumbest thing i've ever heard in my life. i always though pentium 4 sucked... but it did for me because im a gamer and Athlon 64 is a better gaming chip than pentium 4... but pentium 4 was good for its time, considering it actually did win some benchmarks due to intel's hyperthreading technology. intel is still a good company though..

In history, since the conception of the processor Intel has historically been on top most of the time. While lately (pre-conroe) they have fallen behind in the gaming category, there is no reason to say they suck.
 
I hate Intel for several reasons, they produced a terrible line of processors - ironic, because I'm just about to splash out 220 quid on a Conroe! The hype sounds amazing, reviews look fantastic, so differences aside - conroe here I come ;P
 
The reason i say Intel sucks is because my sister's P4 3.06ghz processor is so slow its ridiculous.Plus sure Intel has come up with some crazy things,but the only thing i admire from Intel is the P3 733mhz Coppermine processor and the new Conroes.Other then that,to hell with em.

U suck. Try runing programs with intel and amd, youl see that intel is faster. In games, AMD a better choise, but now the allendales and conroes rule the cpus.
