Foxfire Vs Internet Explorer Question

I just downloaded foxfire because it's alot more secure and overall just better. I really like it espically how fast it is compared to internet explorer, but i do have one thing thats really annoying and i need to figure out how to fix it, if it's fixable. On some sites (like myspace) it makes the pages look all weird and off looking. I took a couple screenshots to compare/show you what i mean. If anyone knows what to do i would be soo happy :D Please help

Internet Explorer (the way it's supost to be)

This is the same page with foxfire

Another part of the page with Internet Explorer (the way it's supost to be)

Any ideas or suggestions??? Pleeeeeeeeese :D

I remember I had this problem with Firefox on the MLB sites. Make sure you have the most recent flash player plugin (either Adobe or Macromedia). And it looks like Myspace uses the Adobe 9 flash player...

There are some differences in IE vs FF when looking at webpages. Some myspace layouts can help make your page look almost the same in both browsers

lol, well, firstly to asnwer your questions, thats not a "problem" FF is supposed to do that, FF has a more literal way of rendering pages, it renders what it reads in the code, IE however doesnt, it looks at the code, guesses at how it thinks it SHOULD look like and renders that, so its actually the other way round to what your thinking. Thats IE for ya...!

Also its Firefox, not FoxFire, just letting you know

Problem or not, FF screws up alot of pages which I find really annoying. Besides I think FF has gone downhill recently. IE6 & especially 7 is mucho better IMO.

Another option would be Opera, it just went to freeware a few months ago, and is another very good, secure option for internet browsing :).

IE and Firefox uses different engines to render pages. This was always an issue to fellow Firefox users since most sites today are still using IE as a standard when making sites. That's why alot of people still ask you to keep IE even though you are using Firefox as your default browser. This is a problem that there really isn't a fix for unless you use IE.

Well Netscape uses both the IE engine and the Firefox engine to render pages, depending on what works best. That's why I love it. :D

Just don't look at the pages in IE, then you won't know what it's "supposed" to look like lol. Pretty much what I do.

The "IETab" extension for FF is awesome, I will recommend it again. Saves opening up another window just to use IE, and it's very fast.

thanks i guess i'll just live with it. I do like firefox (sorry lol) alot and i like all the cool theams and addons. I guess if i need to edit my page or anything i'll just use IE but thats probally the only thing i'll use it for.
