I just found out that since i'm attending college this fall for IT, I get to download alot of Microsoft's products for free! Is there anyone else who has an MSDN subscription so I can find out a little more about it?

yes i have one
but i don't use it much coz i'm busy with some non microsoft-related stuff
i got it about 6 months ago when i ordered visual studio 2005 beta 2

Edit: i forgot to mention there are some kind of levels
go there and read about it.

I've found out about the certain levels, I havent found out which one I have, but I did find out that I can download XP Pro and VB 2005, as well as many others.

Right now im downloading VB 2005, and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

i guess you're downloading vb 2005 express edition
and these are free for everyone

Yeah it is. Well so far the good thing is I can download Server 2003 and XP Pro, which will be very usefull. And I may be able to download Vista when it's officially released.

Unfortunetly it's against the rules.
And you don't now if you'll actually get given Vista on release.... your just guessing. I'm fairly sure that WinXP Pro wasnt on MSDN for download when it was first released. I wouldnt expect Vista to be either.

I talked to my IT professor today, and he said that with our subscription, you can download any Microsoft product ever made, and anything that will be made, with the exception of MS Office and Microsoft games. He also said it includes every single OS produced, ranging from DOS to Vista.
