You need to use the CD-Key that you got when you downloaded the previous release. I ran into the same problem, but luckily a friend was able to give me their CD-Key.

Too bad that wasn't explained at the top of the thread! Many simply downloaded and burned the iso image to disk to find it "UNUSABLE"! !

It's not 14 day. With RC1 it will be good until next July. Anyone have a link for the early beta to get the product number? I doubt that is still available.

Its not available anymore, it was only up for a month or so. You could ask someone politley for their cd key, as its good for 10 computers.

I know that one. I was one of the last to get the 100,000 downloads. At the moment I'm still trying to locate the ad5 sum for the latest Linux release. You can get the Zenwalk 2.8 but there's no md5 sum to verify the download. Ouch! RC1 would have gone on after since there was some 60gb free on the second drive.

Without a product key you can't use it for a longer period than 14 days.

Gee? You mean I can run it that long without the first release? That will help once I get the other OS I'm going to dual boot with onto the spare drive.
