Is Half Life2 a good game?

Did you seriously just ask that question? lol. sry, but that game got like half a million Game of the Year awards, and only gets better with the addition of Episode One.
 
A lot of people think it's better than God, but I think...meh. It's not that good imo. Ok, now where are those fanboys that want to flame me?
 
HL2 is one of the best FPS games I've ever played.....next to FEAR that is hehe. The only b*tch about it is having to have Steam which can be a blessing or a curse depending on your bandwidth.
 
Half life 2, Half Life 2 Deathmatch and CS:Source absolutely bloody rock. I can't stay off the three, Valve have me addicted :(.
 
Illinois. Its a huge 24hour super store. F.E.A.R. goes for about $30. They got everthing there.
 
i loved half-life 1 and 2 its a great single player first person shooter with a fantastic story line that really gets you into it you wont be dissapointed

There should be quite a few Meijers in northern Indiana. The chain started originally in the GR area in the early 1930's, a lot of similarities to Wal-Mart... Except for the fact that all of the stores are open 24 hours, is still family-owned, unionized labor, and oh yeah, they're not the embodiment of everything that is evil and wrong in the corporate world... :cool:
 
Yeah, but they treat their employees horribly!!!! I feel sorry for them. My and my pop always go there and know (just about everyone that works there) and we always talk to them. Stories ain't to pretty....Ive been going there for 7 Years now (same store!) and my gosh it's a huge difference than from when I first started going there.
 
Well, if you think the stories are bad from Meijer, check out some of the stories from Wal-Mart, for instance: managers going in and adjusting employee's puches so that they are not into overtime. Can you see really illegal???
 
yea we have a meijers in merillville, IN thats why i was asking i thought he might have lived a bit closer...i personally hate that store at least that specific one the workers are rude as hell...

I used to work at Wal Mart and the store manager would fire people just so there was no chance of her losing her position. She's even fired people for wanting a transfer. One of Wal Mart's upcoming "policies" is really going to piss off the employees. Let's just say they can be fired, no questions asked, for 8 crappy reasons.

*ponders how this went from HL2 to crap treatment of employees*
 
HL2 is my obsession. The gameplay is a bit dry but I think they more than make up for it with the extremely engrossing storyline and dazzling cinematic display. Robert Culp, who starred alongside Bill Cosby on the series "I Spy" in the '70s plays the bad guy and he's by far the coolest bad guy I've ever seen.

But before you buy it at Meijer see what you can get it for via Steam, the developer's online purchasing program.

if you buy the collection pack then yea. plus you can download HL2: DEATHMATCH.

I really enjoy the gravity on this game. but the game is getting a little old now. Still awesome thou
