Um, you will need to upgrade your hard drive with the hyper hard drive otherwise it wont run...
just trying to start a conversation hence a good thread...by the way
with vista they will be comming out with a "hyper hard drive" If its the one i think it is it will run at 25-3500 rpm, do you have any idea how fast that is? It will take up two drive bays because it comes with its own fan...they also will have the quad core cpu and ddr3and4 RAM and a few other goodies...any system build right now will be out of date in less than 6 months...(ANY) even if you sunk $10,000 in to it. Please dont tell me i dont know what im saying just because you dont want to hear it.![]()
And yes you will have to upgrade your hard drive to run vista, I know what im talking about, Im a computer tech.
i love how these guys try to sound all smart by throughing lingo out there, even though he has no idea wat hes talking about
Even that is understating it a little. When you can run XP on an old ATA66 drive with some obvious drawbacks with the 4,200rpm there Vista should go right on any current ATA100 or 133 drive or SATA 7,200rpm model without any hesitation. Some people don't seem to understand "backward compatability" to any degree apparently.![]()
