Cheap memory in Uk

Anyone know of a computer shop/Store in the uk(West midlands) which sells memory cheap?

Im looking for a 1Gb stick of Pc3200 but places like Pc world are expensive.

i for one live in the west midlands which is a rarity on computer forum and in my experience I would buy from a store online e.g;

Thanks for those links but i prefer not to shop online because...

1..I dont have a credit card and im certianly not giving my bank details online.

2.I would like to buy from a actual store so if theres something wrong with the memory i dont have to contact them all up and wait for them to send me a new one.....I can just drive up their and get them to exchange the part the same day if there was anything wrong with it.

Some people may think im wierd but i like things simple.

Well you could go to the main Overclockers store, in stoke, their components are pretty much always the best quality. Check out their website as it has their address on it. Plus the prices in store are the same as the prices on site.

Il probably see if i can get over and take a look over the weekend.

Although i noticed on the Overclockers website that the OcUK Value 1Gb memory there is only in 2 x 512 sticks.

I could,nt just see a single stick of 1Gb which i want.

The reason i want a 1Gb stick instead of 2 x 512 is because my mobo only has 2 memory slots for a maximum of 2Gb but i want to use a 1Gb stick and my other 256Mb stick so i get 1280Gb.(I think)

best bet is gonna be the yellow pages then fella, check out under computers and see what independant retailers are around

since the demise of the computer shop, PC world are about the only major retailer in the uk and they are way overpriced
