higher res or AA?

which one would you rather?

if you have a LCD monitor with for example 1600x 1200,.. you have to go to that resolution anyway. i prefer high res and good texture's over lightning effects and AA anyway :)
 
I would prefer that res, but if you were to ask me if 1024x768 w/AA, I would choose that over 1280x1024 w/no AA.
 
lol my friend was saying he would rather 800x600 w/ AA than 1280x1024 no AA... because he "likes good graphics"... im like dude that just means your blurring out and smoothing the larger boxes... not actually getting better graphics with smaller boxes... lol

would lighting effects and AA make for better textures? lol (bright and smoothened edges rather than regular boxy graphics = good textures haha)

actually no.. Textures are the pictures they actually pase/fold around the geometrically body. i prefer having the textures on high and a normal resolution over HDR and all that kidn of stuff. but then.. i prefer having it all on ofc :o

That would probably be my choice.
