Hi all

Just wandering if theres anyway whatsoever of making my pc more quiet without the need of replacing Fans?

My fans...

1X 120mm exhaust fan at back
Stock Cpu fan

Most of the noise seems to be comming from the Psu but this is a new psu.

I also have a stock fan on my Graphics card too.

I have my computer tower sitting on the bottom of my desk which wood.
(Just incase you want to know what its sitting on)

And my hard drive is quite noisy too whenever im loading something :D

Its not unbearable but i would just like to make it quieter.

Thanks

It could be your PSU vibrating against the chassis. Try putting insulation around it and see what happens. I had a case do that (my printer server). It was annoying as hell.

Hi SirKenin,

Yeah i could try putting some sort of insulation around the Psu but i think its the Psu,s fan thats the culprit.

get something like this for the PSU, should help a bit.

Also, you can change the stock CPU/video card coolers, as those are usually quite loud.

Yep,Looks like im gonna get one of those then and see if it dampens down the noise.

My vid card fan is actualy quiet but its the PSU thats noisy so hopefully this will help and maybe il get another Cpu fan while im their...Im thinking a nice blue one that lights up:D
