Computer Problem

I have a GIgabyte DS3 and a Lian-Li V1000BPlus II case. I screwed on the motherboard but the case screws wouldn't let it be screwed on tight. Anyways, so the motherboard is a bit loose and I can't power up the motherboard unless I kind of pull it away from the motherboard tray. Anyone have this happen? I have to keep pulling it or else it will shut off. I know it's not a part problem because I put together the parts without a case and it worked fine. What is up?

I did use spacers FYI ;)
The screws that came with the case wouldn't fit well into the spacers that came with the case also.

 Sure you dont have a spacer where theres no hole, sound like a spacer-screw-screw up ! Sounds like the screws dont match the spacers and dont screw in all the way!

Would you post a pic for me? I'm not too sure what you're talking about, sorry.

EDIT: Oh! Yea, I know what you're saying. I did do that. I don't use the non-metal holes.

Modern motherboards don't need spacers anymore. That's old skool. Man they were a pain.

Two things come to find. a) you used the wrong screws. The right ones have a semi-round head on them or a perfectly flat head, depending on the case. They also have a very fine thread. b) you have a riser in the wrong spot and when the board touches it it shorts out and turns off.

See if either of these are the case.

Man I must be really old school, I meant risers, just realized I still call them spacers! I did really hate those things, half of them screwed into the board plate and those you had to slip in that damn slot!
