Is that a Celeron M, 80GB HD, 512MB RAM, ect? They have that for $599 at Staples as well, but I really dont like the Acers (i've had a few).
 
It might be good, but I definitely wouldn't get it. The processor will use a lot of battery power, they made turions for a reason. But it is an OKish deal.

If you are looking for good deals, wait for Black Friday

Thats when I got my previous laptop (Acer, Celeron M, 40GB HD, 256MB) for $450. But that was crap, battery only lasted about 45 minutes on lowest settings.

Hopefully this year i'll have more money to spend so I can get a better laptop.


Part of me was actually hoping they didn't have the laptop when I went there, now I have $600 i can spend on something else :P
