Un-installing

there is a "free aol email" desktop on my icon. when i try to delete it it says i have to uninsatll it. i can't find the prog in the add/remove progs thing..any help?

Check for things related to AOL, AIM etc..

It could be just a link to a website where you sign up for it. Check what kind of file it is.

If it's a program shortcut, right click on the icon, click properties. Click "Find Target", and look in that folder for an uninstall file.

Umm, I had that before too, and yes it says to uninstall it, but you can still delete it off your desktop.

it comes with AIM, just delete it
