Low FPS on Guild Wars

Hey all,
Just been playing guild wars and noticed my fps was averaging about 30, and it always has done, i dunno why this is because my computer should easily run this game with and fps of 50+ and ive barely seen it go to 50fps
Here are my Specs

Motherboard: ASUS A8N-SLI
Graphics Card: BFG 7900GTX OC
CPU: AMD X2 4800+ (sckt 939)
Ram: 2GB
PSU: Antec 450W
HDD: Maxtor 160GB

If anyone knows a reason why please reply, i will greatly appreciate it!
 
are you trying to run the game at full settings?? if so try turning them down a bit, youre computer looks good, but just try playing around with the settings....
 
i turned vsync off but just annoying cuz i should be able to run it on full :confused: my friend can and he has a worse pc than me.
 
The settings being max shouldnt effect the fps a bit with that rig, even my 7300 can play it max. Maybe it has an FPS limiter? That or i dont know other then whats already been mentioned with vsync. Thats very odd.....its pretty easy enigne to run just like HL2.

My computer runs it full and i have never recieved lag...maybe go for a reinstall or if you have alotta programs in the background?

whats the problem with it running at 30fps?
anyhow.. is it constantly 30fps? ( if so, then its a frame limmitter i gues)
 
yeah, fps dont mean s*** if it's not lagging. you could be getting 6,000 fps and it look no different than 50.
 
Actually at 6,000fps the game will move dramatically FAST! Iv gotten 600FPS on Silent Hill 1 for PC (modified for pc) and it was going SUPER FAST, EVERYTHING. Until i set the FPS limiter to 60, then it went back to normal. But that was on my 6800.
