Just noticed Saurian called the e6300 a conroe when infact,it isn't a conroe core :),there are no conroe core e6300s i believe.

They are "Conroes" as in the term Core 2 Duo, but the technical name would be Allendales.

The rosewill power supplies are ~good, but don't ever get an Aspire PSU!.

2MB of cache or 4, who cares? :D

If he went running off to Newegg looking for an "Allendale" he'd be back here confused asking what in the world was an Allendale, then he'd be confused because the great Newegg that knows all (sarcasm) said that it was a Conroe too.

The part of the forum where "less experienced" individuals come for help on spending their dollars really isn't the place to be particular about an ever so slight difference. :(

Anyways, as Jet caught - you might want to get a better power supply. I'm sure you'll upgrade to a more powerful graphics card later - and you'd hate to waste 70 bucks now and have to spend more later. Also, remember that it helps to buy a good name in power supplies. Also a less formal way to get a good power supply is to go by the weight...whether you may have to look at what the projected "shipping weight" would be or maybe even calling Newegg. Not the most accurate way to measure "quality" though, remember. Good power keeps your system happy. :)

Thanks. New question. Im connecting my case fans. which there are 2. I connect those to the molexs right? Atleast one of them is tiny and brown and connect to a 3 prong connection. I am assumingt I dont have to connect that to my mobo correct? Also is System fan considered the powersupply? Thanks

You connect the fans to the molexes, and you can (if you want to) plug the three prong connections to the motherboard to monitor their speeds.

Just wanted to make sure. Also last question for the night. I plugged in my Power supply connector into the ATX connection. It supports a 24 connector but my power supply came with a 20 pin power connector and a 4 pin connector on the same line Does the power pin connector go next to the 20 pin connector and both fit in the 24 connector?

As long as both the 20 and the 4 are in the same bundle, they both go to the 24pin connector. However, there is another 4 pin connector for near the CPU, so I am assuming that you are not talking about that one..
