$500 Desktop?

watch movies, listen to music, and to browsing and alot of multi-tasking

multaking doesnt mean running ie, excel, word, and music. It means some real demanding threads.... while a c2d would be nice if he want to step things up later, and maybe if he wnat to play the occational game (although gpu will be limiting), but on balances a c2d is not essential if it will disbalance the rig

Biostar products are always talked down on like they are pieces of crap, and I would spend the extra $5 for a good name board like a Gigabyte.
