Anybody know any downloader support more than 10GB files?

I am trying to download a table file here: http://rainbowtables.shmoo.com/

The 42GB one, but most of browser IE, Firefox doesn't support more than 10GB. Even flashget, it will just get the wrong file size show around 2GB only.

Any idea of how to download that?

Thanks.

Can't be me fault, I tried two browser, one downloader. And even on other computers...
You can try it too.

You can use a program like flashget which saves it even if the signal is lost, and allows restart after disconnect. It also makes upto 10 connections to the same file for faster downlaoding.

I do not understand, sorry. But I did try flashget, and it happens the same showing the wrong file size.

So you download the whole thing and then it is an extraction error? or do you even get to start downloading?

Are you sure it is not your ISP capping downloades to 10gb?

If you want i can download it and recreate the file into5 different files all less than 10gb...

If you go to the site and try and download the 42GB file, it says its only a 1.??GB file. Thats his problem. It says it for both ie and firefox. Its just not registering as a 42GB file.

Well I was able to download it, I am currently at 91%.

Ill just split it. and link to him.

Huh.. Well I downloaded the file and total file size is 1,847,942,777bytes or 1.72GB...

He says it is 42GB online.?

Desktop\lm_alpha-numeric-symbol32-space.tar.gz: Unexpected end of archive
Desktop\lm_alpha-numeric-symbol32-space.tar.gz: Read error in the file
Desktop\lm_alpha-numeric-symbol32-space.tar.gz
Desktop\lm_alpha-numeric-symbol32-space.tar.gz: CRC failed in
Desktop\lm_alpha-numeric-symbol32-space.tar.gz. The file is corrupt

Ohh well.. Sorry

I am pretty sure it's the browser's problem. I remember I found somewhere from another forum of web server software. People are discuss about can't download a very huge size of file. And the developer says it's the browser's problem.

Here is a tool: http://www.rejetto.com/hfs/
It doesn't need any installation, it's just a tiny executable file. It's a little file server, you could try to see what browser supports huge size file.

I have a feeling the person just has the wrong file on the website. I've downloaded several hundred GB files easily.

Just because he put 42GB, doesnt mean he put the wrong file there.

It's definitely a problem on their end. I tried downloading it too and it says that it's 1.72GB. Maybe drop a note to the webmaster.
