BF 2142 demo

nope havent tryed it, always wanted 2 but needed a more powerful computer, i'll be getting my 2.8GHZ CPU sometime this week, then getting 1G RAM and a better graphics card next month..
 
I would try it if the download servers weren't clogged up. I tried downloading it at download.com and it said it would take 198 days to finish my download...
 
I downloaded it through EA Downloader, took 1 hr 40 mins...

I'm not sure I like it... There's something about it which annoys me...
 
I havnt tried it yet probably never will.

I tried out the Battlefield 2 demo and in my opinion it sucked so i have no intention of buying the new one.

I heard from a few battlefield 2 players that the new one isnt brilliant at all.:cool:
 
Well, I downloaded it, installed it, launched it, then it go black and an error message appeared. I uninstalled it to see if that would fix it...nope. I even when into the file folder and tried moving/replacing certain files and nothing worked...must find link to download the .exe instead of a .zip file...maybe that'll work...

I had the same problem. Update your DirectX: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

Thanks to Rambo I managed to get it started. It's really fun so far. The only thing I don't like about the demo is that it doesn't let you play single player. Anyways, my best moment so far is manning a turret and facing down a tank. Sadly, the tank's gunner couldn't aim at all so I managed to kill them without taking a hit.
 
I love taking down the titans, its so star-wars-esque, jumping off as it's blowing up. Too bad I'm never there... one time I almost made it, but I got shot just before running around the corner.
 
i really wanna try out the game!!! but i don't think my computer will fun itm :( and im now a poor college student. Do you think it will run on low settings even, it can run bf2 fine. Its on my signature, but its an xp 3000+ with a faster bus speed, a gig or ram, and a 5600XT. thanks
 
I loved bf2 and i was addicted to it untill i couldnt get on my account :mad:

Hopefully Bf2142 is just as good without all the bugs and bad stuff bf2 had
i got about 50min to go..
