Actually the Dreamcast was pretty good, it was just the victim of crappy Sega corporate dynamics. Release a system, pull the plug on it shortly after. They did it with the saturn too.

I actually got my dreamcast from a friend after they didn't make any new games for it. It seemed ahead of its time, with its great graphics (for the year), and a modem built in.

N64 for sure, nothing can ever beat the Mario Kart battle, Smash Brothers marathons and pure insanity from Goldeneye and Perfect Dark (anybody remember proximity mine battles??? :D)

ok, wheres the damn Amiga option

the Amiga defined a generation, it was the must have in gaming machines with the advantage of having PC like qualities!

Sensible soccer on the Amiga was quite possibly the greatest game

Amiga rules!!!!!

I was so torn between the original NES and the Nintendo 64. Nothing can beat that feeling I had when gaming was just becoming a household word. The Nintendo 64 was my first 3D system and it was darn close at capturing my heart the same way the NES did.

I'd imaging the NES was prob. in more households then any system before it.

Lets not forget N64's, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which revolutionized the action/adventure/RPG genre with it's targeting system...... (Not to mention, it was a kick a$$ game.....)

I went the Sega genesis purely for the brilliant gameplay but all of those systems were/are good.

the original nes. i spent countless hours in front of that tube. i used have dreams about finding new secret spots in zelda (the greatest game ever). that game proved that gameplay is more important than graphics.

Because of my age our first console was the 64 and how the memories.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time, 007 Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Mario Party just thinking of those names brings back memories of days upon days of holidays with me, my little brother and big sister all playing against each other.
Trading it and all our games in for a lazy two PS2 games was one of our biggest gaming mistakes. Even my sister at 20 longs to have the 64 back in her flat lol.
Anyway enough with me.
And PC for second due to the upgradability
