Hey guys,
I was looking at my temps today, and i came across something i found farliy odd. I don't now if you can see it or not in the pic. but
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f72/InFlames_44/79897.jpg
My MB temp was 27..but my CPU temp was 8 degrees. I just found it odd .
Why would my CPU temps be so low, and my MB temps up higher.?
I was Thinking that becausemy basement gets cold..my fans were bassicaly sucking in cold air and creating a cold airflow making my temps lower.

Any thoughts,?

I seriously doubt your CPU's only 8*C. With that tiny screen shot I can't see what you're using. Is it something made for the motherboard or what? Some generic programs(and some even made for the boards) can be off by a good bit. Check your BIOS, Typcially there's a more acurate reading in there.

Actually..surpisingly, they are the right temps.using
PC.Probe 2
Everest home edition
SpeedFan.
i got all the same readings.
PLUS in my BIOS it reads same thing.

But the weird thing is..it only happens sometimes. My cpu temps don't stay there all day, they stick there for a hour or 2 then drop back up to reg mid 20's
I have another screenshot here, but it is of same quality as the other.
Any tips as to how i can make it better.
i don't have photoshop either.

LoL! Thats a nice trick!

Friends can come over and maybe you can convince them that you got your CPU to 8*C! And no, the cool air flow CANNOT decrease your CPU temp by 20*C.

Maybe a slight malfunction?

Whats a nice trick?
haha.you really don't belive me .haha.wow.
why can't you just accept that i got my CPU to 8 degrees and you haven't !!

haha
:P
im really not pulling a fast one or anything..100% true. unless there is indeed a malfunction somewere along the way, Which i highley doubt

Just go with the flow. lol, be proud that ure cpu's running at 8*. Just watch that it doesnt go under 0*, lol, then ure cpu will literally FREEZE up (or down, lol)... haha.

Sounds like the temperature probe is being misread under certain/random conditions.

Well..see, the thing is..what the probe reads..also does everest and speedfan.

But the odd thing is..after a day of running at 8 to 15 degrees..i reboot and it climbs up to 23, 24,25 etc

odd.
