You can't speed up your internet by buying a faster computer .

True. Hopefully, you aren't out of luck enough yet that dial-up is still provided in your area. Then if you really want, you can get a so-call dial up accelerator which most providers are now offering that may improve your expeience, but not the connection.

well, anyways, satellite is probably your best bet
