im tired of the CS:S thread, cause i dont have it yet, who wants to play/can host a server?

All you do is go to www.steampowered.com and download it, you dont have to go to a store.

is 1.6 really that much different compared to source? better graphics, slightly better gameplay dynamics... what else?

Because its old and more people can play it considering it runs on a PII with a decent amount of ram whereas you cant at all with those specs for cs:s

that's not the only reason, i stayed with 1.6 because...well i just love it! they messed with the levels way to much in source, they also keep screwing it up with these gay updates like changing the bullet spread around and player speed!

i just don't think its possible to recreate something as perfect as counter strike in a whole new engine without it feeling different, you cant remake perfection

In fact.. i like them doing that... it prevents people from only scoring headshots all the time,.. so I stand a chanse in that game too.. (altough... its very small XD )

well in my opinion they changed the bullet spread to be more tighter while running, which makes it even more easier to get head shots!

im just used to 1.6 and to lazy to get used to source since its going to keep changing

besides i have a good clan for 1.6
