I have Avast! home edition, and it is working fine. but the problem is that when I go to the windows security center it says that windows doesn't find any Anti-virus on my computer

This suddenly happened to me today.

I have downloaded IE7 yesterday, and maybe IE7 is causing this problem to me, but I really don't know.
what do you think ?

I have IE7 and it says my antivirus is off but I dont really mind because I know that it is running fine. The only thing is that when I go to the ie7 homepage Avast pops up says VBS:Zulu worm and asks me if I want to abort the connection. Did you experiance this?

No, I don't get this Alert when I visit IE7 home page.

Ok I have question, Before you have installed IE7 (when you had IE6), did it say that your Antivirus is off ?

For me it was able to detect my antivirus before I installed IE7, when I had IE6.

I'm using avast! antivirus and IE7. Windows security centre does detect avast before and after I use IE7. No problem at all.

Hmm.. maroon1 why do you turned off automatic updates. It's very important ya know.

OK, I did system restore, then I reinstalled IE7 and windows security centre now detects my antivirus.

Any way thank you for your replies
