itunes and windows media player problem

i copied all of my itune music from one computer and put it on another computer to windows media player. problem is when i added some of the albums to the windows media player library they dont display in WMP but i can play them by track.

so in a nutshell some albums work and some others dont. i dont understand why.
 
I would suggest just using iTunes on that computer as well, or Winamp... I've always had problems with WMP, more than any other player, plus it's a freakin' resource HOG! :)
 
When you say, 'you can play them by track', do you mean you need to go the folder containing the song, and open with WMP, for it to play?

Also, have you tried doing the whole 'add folder to library' through WMP?

correct on the first part and on the second part. it says that it adds them but it doesnt.

also i have the net on a mac and when i try to DL WMP11 it is for mac as it detects that operating system. is there a way that i can get round this and DL for Pc?
