For the user considering the 7900GTX OC:

I myself purchased one last month, got artifacting and glitching (black outs) I called up Nvidia and they told me there was a huge amount of them having to be sent back due to those problems. i miss out on the chance but at the same time i bought it they were replacing them for the 7950 512mb's (not the 7950 1GB's). so just a warning to the next looker beware of this issue. I have had to spendan extra $40.00 to send it away.

Was that an nVidia made card? i mean... not a third party like Sapphire or XFX or something.

I was alwayz under the under the impression that overclocking anything voids any warranty for anything...

And that seems like a duh, why would you OC a 7900GTX? seems kinda pointless... and these problems are old ones. The newer 7900GTXs are doing quite well.

So do you research before you make a smartass comment like that, and my card was made in augest.

please, could we keep it friendly here? and please dont double post, use the edit function please :) ( dont take offense of this, but i'd like to keep the mood good on this forum)

Anyhow, thanks for the warning, but did NVidia tell anything about why the cards did that? a flaw in the design? Heat issues?
