Is it cheap?

Is this a good Case.

The reviews says that it is flimsy. It also looks like its a bit small. I'm I going to have problems with it on my first build.???:confused:
 
I wouldn't advise buying a power supply with it. The lask of any side vents doesn't help temperature wise with that model. For a good 450w or higher wattage supply in any case you decide on the Antec True Power 2.0 480w is one good one to go with. A brand like AeroCool, Antec, Zalman, and few others will easily out do that one.

For a few dollars less you could go with one like the AeroCool model seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811196019

For a much larger variety of custom style cases have a good look over at the makes and models seen at http://www.xoxide.com/allcases.html You will a much larger variety in different price ranges.
 
It is a good buy, but I agree with PC_eye, you will want a larger PSU, another thing when it comes to towers is you want to look at HDD bays(which you have there),and fan slots. personally I prefer server towers, but if you can find a heavy one to that is also good, because you know it is a high quality case. hope I was of some help.

I bought the AeroCool model due to the lack of airflow seen in the old case and only added two 120mm fans and a larger supply to suddenly feel more weight then just those items. A more durable chassis was present. You don't have to spend a fortune just be a smart shopper.
 
Yeah I did plan on changing the PSU*** and adding the Front Intake Fan. Thanks a lot. Ill keep thinking about it.

One of the most important things to look at when building a new case is finding a good stable supply with adequate power onhand for the hardware you will be installing and may install later. Adequate cooling seems to be an item of concern as well since newer boards are configured to supply more power for things like SLI/Crossfire and in general run warmer then the older Socket A/P3 type boards. That is before even considering ocing.
 
Most of those pre-modded flashy cases tend to be relatively cheap. Not saying they are all bad cases but they just aren't worth it, you can't find a much better case for cheaper.

A few decent cases that I have dealt with are the Thermaltake Mambo (for $30 after the MIR and Free shipping you just can't beat it) I picked up one of those myself last week for a cheaper build I am throwing together. No window and such but added easy enough, solid case though. This Enlight is actually a rock solid case as well, used it for a build for my grandpa, was very impressed with how solid it felt.

Now not all these cases have the best airflow off the bat, but then again most cases don't, cut out the mesh fan grills and throw in a few 120mm fans and it will work just fine.

But ya couldn't agree more with PC eye, never skimp of the psu, it tends to be the most overlooked part of a computer, a few good cheaper brands are sparkle, HEC, or antec. ;)
 
There are a larger number of better designed cases that allow for extra fans and the extra lighting you can add in as well. At least there is venting on the side panel of the Cooler Master there. The last case here saw two 80mm fans and no side or front fans or vents. One was the rear exhaust with the other blowing air out of the top? Not when you put your hand over it! The older style cases often lack good air flow.
 
You have to right to go with the looks of a case.. and imo, you should ;)
You first look into what model of case you like, and you look for good cases that match the look you had in mind. At least,.. thats how i chose my case,.. and i didnt regret it so far :)

Awsome. Im going to go with the Raidmax and buy the PSU and have one extra :) Thanks

But I still want to know would it be any better if I put a 120mm or less but no less that 80mm on the side. Or would it just be there for nothing.???
 
I almost have the same case as that Raidmax..

I ended up putting an Antec Tricool 120mm in the back, and moving the 120mm that comes with it oto the front.
 
The twin Antec 120mm blue led fans mounted on the side cover here do make a difference over just having the front and rear fans running alone. The more you get air moving around inside and draw cooler in as well as exhaust the heated air the cooler the entire system will end up being. Archangel is running the exact same model case there.
