I've noticed that over the last few weeks or so, all my system restore points keep deleting themselves for some reason. I went back to see how many restore points were made and to my surprise, there were none! Under "system restore settings" the box for "turn off system restore on all drives" is unchecked. The disk space to use is set at the maximum 12%. I have only used about 30GB of 120GB so space is not the issue. Anybody got any ideas why I have no restoration points? I have noticed in the past like when I am making some kind of change to the computer and I make a restore point to be safe, that there were only one or two points usualy for that day or the day before. Everything else gets deleted or something, but there is always at least one there. The computer made one for today at around 5:30 but it's gone as they all are gone. I just made a current restore point just now and it is listed. Closed the program down and looked again and 1 restore point is available. I can make a restore point but it will be deleted in the future for some unknown reason. I've tried checking the box for "turn off system restore on all drives" then re-boot and uncheck the box, make a restore point and it gets deleted. I'm virus free from Kaspersky, and Panda online scans, as well and E-Trust EZ antivirus. I'm adware/malware free from Spybot SD, Adaware SE, Ewido, A-Squared, and Pest Patrol scans. I run CCleaner and Registry Mechanic periodically as well. Can someone please help resolve this problem? I hope someone can help cause I don't like not having any restore points to go back to if I mess something up. Thanks in advance
