1st off let me say this....

Every winter and summer, im either at Japan or New York...

so i move around and i can only spend $1300

Now should i get a laptop or a desktop???

You can definetly build a better desktop than that for $1300. But, considering you're moving around alot, I would get a laptop.

The 2nd laptop has a superior processor, but the graphics card is lagging. See if you can catch Dell on a sale, they usually have some great deals.

I'm assuming you meant either Core Duo or Core 2 Duo e6300 if its 1.83Ghz
