k i was wondering if u guys can help me out and straighten some things.
i have this case:

in front there is a lcd temperature monitor. no when i plug in all the power that is from the case, everything works except for the temperature monitor. there is 1 connector left lover how ever. and it seems to be a 2 pin connector.

so if anyone has this case or a similar case, would this be the power to the temp monitor? if so... i would need an adapter cuz my mobo doesnt support those types of pins. can anyone direct me to a link please? :)

3 pin connectors are for Fan's.. so i really dont think you should connect that one to it.. I'll try to dig up some info on it.. brb :)

Red and black are usally for power(besides the PC Speaker plug) I suspect it's for some sort of power addaptor. There's probably a converter that was suppose to come with your case that went from molex to that connection. My old case did have something similar.

ooooooooF!! i shoulda proof read. i meant to say 2 pin. sry guys...... bleh. and thanks for the help so far. im hopin to get my temperature monitor to work.

didnt you get a manual with your case? i mean, you could just connect it to something.. (i gues its the supply for the display).. but its better to know what the cable is, isn't it? :)

hmm well i plugged in the molex of the case already. thats weird it didnt light up. alright ill see if theres a connection problem or something. i did check out the manual online b4 too, but notin about the separate 2 pin. hmmm. ok thanks a lot!

ok so today i got the replacement mobo for my system. YAY it works now.

anyways.. while i was at it workin on my case, i was curious about the 2 pin and what it was connected to. so i opened up the front face plate and looked at wat the molexs were connected to. and i saw this.

so as u see the 2 pin in my first post, its red and black wiring, so i guess it is the power for the temp meter. and the white is the thermal strip... i guess i gotta find a 2 pin to 3 pin or 4 pin connector for it. because i dont see anything else in the case or wires it can connect to.

yea,.. its the power supply for your screen of the case. didnt there come an adapter with the case?
altough, im glad to hear that the new motherboard works fine :)
