is it just me...

AMD is redirected parts for Socket 939 models for developing and manufacturing the upcoming quad core models at the present time. Expect quantities to be somewhat limited.

okay thanks for the reply. i was hoping that AMD would wait until early 2007 to stop selling socket 939s so i could save enough money to get one then but i guess not

Some models obviously sell faster then others. The top X2s along with the cheapest X2s would sell the most. Now that production of the quad core line has taken supply of the 939 away from vendors some older ones are suddenly appearing out of nowhere like a 3400+ 939 model? Those only saw limited production as oem for a short period. I dug back 2yrs. to get info on that one!

wow u worked a bit tooo hard to find that info...

When the only references seen on them is for a sale price nad you are not specifically looking for it you'd be surprised how many won't even notice. Those were manufactured strictly for Compact for a bried period of time. The 3500+ was soon seen due to the 1000mhz not 800mhz HTT seen with everyone else.

Talk so much and say nothing!
