the Xbox and the Xbox 360 produce a Ethernet signal... so if the adapter has its own power supply, there should be no problem at all :)
 
The Xbox wifi addaptor just connects to the network port, correct? If so, it'd be a simple move from one system to another. Technically it should work on any system(computer or whatever) as long as it has a network card in it.

i ment the origanal xbox one. the new one for the 360 hooks up to the usb. i will try it when i get it. my friend has one that he never uses. the only reason i could see it not working is if MS mad it not work on purpose so you had to buy a new one.
