The story is I bought a Dell desktop but found the monitor and video card are bad for gaming. So I upgrade the video card to a GF 7600GT and bought another monitor with DVI output. The dell monitor only has VGA output and the GF 7600GT has both DVI and VGA output.

What I am wondering is if I can actually connect both these two monitors to the GF 7600GT card or not?

:P running 2 monitor will be fun I am looking forward to experiencing that!

another concern remains though, Does Dell Dimension still suck at gaming even after upgrading the video card and monitor?

specs:
DIM E520,Intel Pentium D Processor 820 with Dual Core Technology(2.80GHz,800FSB)
1GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz
GF 7600GT PCI express
BenQ FP222W BK Black 22" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 700:1

Yes, the gaming will be worlds better. I think it is safe to say that that video card is twice as fast as your old one.

My wife has been using a laptop playing wow, I seriously think that's a pain for her so I wanna buy another desktop.
I built a desktop by myself like 2 years ago, but I found it costed me too much (more than $1,000 after upgrading video card, tower, power supply and CPU cooler), and I haven't found a good way to reduce noisy while keep the system running good under heavy usage. There is a jet engine in it :o
Anyway, I thought buy a complete system from a company will be a good choice for me this time. Altough now I start to doubt the capability of a Dell comp for gaming, it remains very quite while working which pleased me.

Why did you get a Dell?

This sort of thing comes up allot. Why are you asking? Please keep to the topic. If you want to discuss what has been asked thus far then great, it is welcomed.

If you wanted a Dell for gaming then you should have bought one of their gaming rigs ;). Otherwise You would prob. be better off purchasing something different. But it really depends on your level of gaming. Dell computers are good for their purpose. They are very poor enthusiast PC's However they now have some great gaming rigs available. I'll always build my own.

Side note... when we answer off topic questions we tend to drive the topic, off topic :P. I assume you are happy and found the answer you were originally looking for?
