I like dell out of all the choices. I have had nothing bad about my Dell 8300...its lasted me 4 good years.

Hp is good for rather cheap but 1-5 years reliability for a basic home user

compaq brands it just look better than hp brands though same company now but like laptop i would buy the compaq brand as well the desktop just because it has a better design even though they have the same specs.

Most of Compaqs cases look much better then the Hp ones....Hp ones look fat
