would a Radeon 5550 256MB AGP be good 4 me? the games im mostly gonna play is GTA SA and COD2..

You mean 9550? It's a very old card, not a whole lot better then your current one. I wouldn't upgrade to anything lower then the 9600 series (ATI), or 6000 series (nVidia).

If you want a good card i would recomend mine...Club 3D Radeon 9600,Its not new..Infact its quite a little outdated but it plays games like Doom 3 and Prey great so im sure it would play GTA:Sa good.

I only paid £50 for it brand new.

whats a good 256MB card? thats 128, my currents 128, and i OC'd it, think the core is like 624MHZ..or around that..

the 9800pro is a much better card than your current 5200. Even though it only has 128mb, it has 8ppl while your card only has 4.

whats PPL? yeah but i was gonna get a 256MB instead of a 128...

The amount of video memory doesn't matter as much as the other specs of the card...

By PPL, he means Pixelpipelines. So, basically, if two cards had the same core clock, and one had 4 pixelpipelines and the other 8, the second would get rougly two times the amount of things done that the first did, in the same amount of time.

No. Trust us on this one, no game that you could play with a 9800PRO would use 256mb, lol. And any card under $100 with 256mb won't even come close to using half of its vram.

ok, soo should i just stay with a 128MB card? get a better card then some 256MB's? and maybe save money?

if soo, i'll deffinately look into the 9800PRO..
