My new computer that I put together today is not doing anything beyond running the fans when I start it. The parts I put together are as follow:

1. MB Asus P5W DH Delux/wifi
2. Intel C2D e6300
3. MEM 1GX2 CORSAIR DDR2 800 XMS2 5-5-5-15
4. INVIDIA EVGA 7900GS KO
5. PSU COOLMAX CP500T 500W

I put all of this together and I am getting getting the little green light in the mobo and the fans on the cpu and the vid card to work, but nothing more (no beeps and no moniter signal). I tried doing the following things to solve the problem:

1. Removed mobo from case
2. Disconnected dvd player and hard drive
3. Cleared the cmos
4. Reseated the memory and tested each stick individually at the A1 slot
5. Started the mobo by manually switching through the mobo pins
6. Disconnecting the video card

Yet I couldnt get it to start beeping or to send a signal to the moniter. Can I be missing something, or is it possible that there is hardware conflict here? Thanks in advance for the help!

did you forget to connect the extra 12v x4 plug for the CPU?

EDIT: also, check ASUS's website for incompatibility issues with RAM and such...

Yes it does! it beeps and I can see letters on the screen, thats def moving forward! It keeps telling me failed to load OS. I have the OS CD in the dvd drive. So looks like I am going to have to setup my bios. Though I am going to do that tomorrow as I am well past my bed time. Thanks for asking.
