Is it ok to search the internet or do other stuff on your computer while defragmenting?

Well, do you mean your original such as you have two different hdd? Or did you mean 3 partitions and the "original" is a different drive letter.

It's fine to search the web, it just wont defrag some of the temp files. You shouldnt be watching movies though if the videos are stored on your computer.
