computer magazines

Depends what your interested in, I receive PC Magazine and Maximum PC.

If you're interested in software, networking, and basic PC coverage some of the best magazines would be PC Magazine, PC World, etc.

If you're interested in gaming, hardware, overclocking, or being a PC enthusiest, the best I would say would be Maximum PC or PC Gamer.

My favorite is Maximum PC, because it covers the newest gaming hardware, shows tips on overclocking, and benchmark alot of different motherboards and CPU's so you can see the differences between them.

I have some issues of PC Magazine from mid 90's (most interesting I think). PC Magazine was about twice as thick as it is now, and it was all talk about PC's... what happened?

I love reading stories and stuff on how the columnists think technology will change in the future.
 
Im subscribed to Pc Pro Magazine,

Dont know if yo can get it the Us or anywhere else.
 
Im in the UK and im subscribed to Pc Pro magazine aswell. I also buy a copy of PC Advisor every few months but subscribing to 2 costs too much. PC Pro is the best in the UK.
 
In UK i get Micromart for all the general PC chat and info once a week and Custom PC for mods, new hardware/software, etc... once a month.

Yeah they do cost a bit!

Have you seen how much those Microsoft windows magazines are?

There like £7.99 for a magazine:eek:

They just stick a few disks in with tweaks and backgrounds sometimes.
 
Yeah I know.
They also have dates months ahead of when you get them.
I got a pc pro issue in cotober dated december and i was bored so i emailed them asking why they gave them the wrong dates and they said it was because I was a suscriber. 5 days later I saw the same issue in a shop with the same date. i sent them an email but they didnt reply lol i was bored.

wow... the post office is that slow in lexington? :eek: :P

I dont reviece pc magaines at home, the only occasional buy i do on them is the Power Unlimmited ( wich is more game reviews etc). I prefer the Fancy etc over it :P
