midrange DX10

Does anyone know when the midrange (7600) equivalent of DX10 cards are coming out? ATI or nVidia. Also, how much do you think they will cost?

im not sure when they'll come out, there have been no announcements, but when they do hit i would expect them to be around the 200$ range at first

I'm guessing it will be a similar time frame that we had with the 7000 series. The 7800 first came out, then followed by the lower and higher end models.

Im sure I read somewhere that the mid-range DX10 G80's are due to be released in the first few months of 2007.

There are 9 more "8" series cards in the works. They should be released in the next couple months. It was an article on www.dailytech.com where the Nvidia spokesman announced it.

According to dailytech.com nividia will release G84 and G86 in January or February of 2007, and it will replace GeForce 7600 and 7300-series
