Call of duty:Cheats slowed down game?

Hi all,

I just enabled the cheats console in Call of duty (The first one) for pc.

I followed this...

And it worked and all cheats work....However the game runs like crap,Its realy slow and lags unlike before it played great.

No problems at all before i enabled cheats

I wanted to use cheats because its more fun playing through the levels again and constantly having 100% ammo

Well, can you disable the cheats? If you can, try disabling them and then see what happens.

Well thats wierd,

Everytime you start the next level you have to re-enter the cheats to activate them again....so i did.

But this time the game played fine with the cheats enabled

Something must have been making my computer lag....Dunno why because i have nothing else but avast antivirus running in the background.

Anyway its working fine now
