Will you be getting the DX-10 Cards that cost about $600 average?

Personally I think they are too expensive for a card, which doesnt have many games for it yet.

I'm waiting out until Nvidia release their low-end G80 cards. Then I'll get one (for Crysis). Or, maybe even a 8800GTS after the R600 is released, if the price drops enough..

Those are just cards that support DX10 when it's released. And you have to get Vista in order to get DX10, and Vista hasn't been released yet.

So fade2green514 does have a point there.

Yeah, but I think the majority will not be getting a DX10 card before Vista and DX10 have been released. Or until AMD releases a DX10 card to rival nVidia's G80 cards.

hmmh.. My current pc run's everything pretty well actually.. I was thinking of getting a 8800.. but, when i think about it, it would be wasted money.
I wont be switching unless i actually get something out of it.. 8k in 3dmark06 is pretty decent for a pc atm I think, so no need to replace it for performance increasement
